WHO IS CURTIS SITTENFELD

I could cut and paste a hundred lines from this story, but that wouldn't be very efficient for you or me. Just print it out and read it if you've got the time. Never have I felt more pegged, or exposed, after reading a story than this one.

I'm sure your question is semi-rhetorical, but she's an Iowa grad that hit some minor but well-deserved success last year with Prep.

Ok, well, yeah.

How about "WHO IS CURTIS SITTENFELD - AND SINCE WHEN HAS SHE BEEN READING MY MAIL?"

Any idea whether Prep is any good?

Also, I just want to reiterate that this story happens to be really good in a way that other stories are not.

Once I waded through the senseless accusations of "chick lit" (you know, b/c it's written by a woman), I found a lot of pretty strong praise. Never got around to reading it myself. I'm too busy reading blogs.

Odd coincidence. I was just reading this:

Not that odd. I found the story by navigating through this link.

By the way, Batman is going to kick Bin Laden's ass.

Batman's about four and a half years late to the party.

Better late than never, though.

I keep thinking about this Batman business. Didn't Superman fight Nazis? Captain America? Sometimes comics really are for kids. I think our man-child adult population forgets this.

It just feels like it could be so transparently propagandistic. IF it paints the conflict in black and white.

Not that Bin Laden shouldn't be fought. Someone should. Even fictionally. I'll take comfort in the "essential truth" of Batman's eventual victory.

I guess I should have read the article first. Since Miller flatly calls it "propaganda." And then Nazis and Captain America get mentioned.

Yeah, the article kind of already covers that. It's hard being an original thinker anymore.

Not exactly. Maybe he hasn't exactly been on al Qaeda's case, but he's been on fighting the "War on Terror" since 2002. Recognize!
