THE OSCARS

I was on a plane yesterday night playing chess with Phil Keoghan's daughter, so I didn't get to see the Oscars.

The question now becomes which is a less reputable-sounding title: Oscar-winner or Grammy-winner?

I'll do you one further: Oscar-Nominee vs. Grammy-Nominee?

Tony-Award presenter.

What's Phil's daughter like in person? Is she Amazing at chess?

Well, I beat her, so she can't be that good. But she does have a "chess coach", so there you go.

Considering Crash won the Best Picture prize, I'd have to say that Oscar-winner is the least reputable title at the present moment. That could change, though, if--oh, I don't know--Wilco took a Grammy away from Bruce Springsteen.
